After getting the car home, I totally took the lower end apart and replaced it with:
NEW parts
8” limited slip differential with rear axle bearings & seals
Driveshaft (balanced) w/new “U” joints
1” drop front competition springs
Lower and upper A frames
Steering damper and tie rods
Front discs and rear drums
Fuel tank
Lower fuel and brake lines
Fuel pump
All the dirty work is done! I’ve cleaned all the usable parts and all I need to do is assemble the rest of this GT. This car will be a beautiful street car! It will run true and steer perfectly.
The motor just needs to be “plumbed”

THIS IS A FULLY RESTORED 1966 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE. PROJECT WAS COMPLETED 3 YEARS AGO.
ORIGINAL 289 MOTOR WAS COMPLETLY REBUILT WITH ALL NEW PARTS TOP AND BOTTOM. A MILD STREET CAM WITM MATCHING ALUMINUM EDELBROCK TUNNEL INTAKE AND A 600 HOLLY 4 BARREL CARBURATOR. ALL NEW SENSORS, ALT, REGULATOR, ETC. ALL PARTS UNDER HOOD INCLUDING BRAKES WERE REPLACED WITH NEW. HAS DUAL EXHAUST WITH SHORTY HEADERS AND STAINLESS TIPS. THE TURBO MUFFLERS GIVE IT A HEALTHY SOUND BUT NOT TOO LOUD.
ORIGINAL C4 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION REBUILT. TRANSMISSION SHIFTING PATTERN IS OF THE EARLY STYLES . PARK, REVERSE, NEUTRAL, 2ND, 3RD THAN 1ST. WITH SHIFT KIT.
SUSPENSION IS REBUILT INCLUDING BALL JOINTS, SHOCKS AND HEAVIER REAR SPRINGS.I ALSO HAVE PUT ON A COMPLETE REBUILT POWER STEERING
EXTERIOR IS PAINTED A BRILLIANT RED. REPLACED EVERY BIT OF CHROME FROM THE DOOR HANDLES TO ALL LIGHTS TO ALL EMBLEMS TO THE BUMBERS. ALL CHROME IS PERFECT.
THE INTERIOR AND TOP HAVE BEEN PROFFESIONALY REPLACED WITH NEW. THE IN DASH STEREO WAS REPLACED THREE TIMES WITH AFTER MARKET, FINALLY GAVE UP ON THAT IDEA SO I INSTALLED A FLOOR MOUNTED STEREO WITH CD. REPLACED KICK PANEL SPEAKER, INSTALLED A AMP WITH A BOOM BOX FOR THE BASE IN TRUNK. A POSITVLELY FANTASTIC SOUND. TRUNK HAS ALSO BEEN RESTORED.
TO SUM UP THIS CAR WHEN I RESTORED IT IF IT DID NOT LOOK LIKE NEW,IT WAS REPLACED WITH NEW.
